a.s.r. and Van Lanschot Kempen sign new pension scheme

Thursday January 30 was the official signing of the pension contract between a.s.r. and Van Lanschot Kempen. Van Lanschot Kempen offers its employees a new pension scheme as of 1-1-2020. The plan is a fully available premium plan and Van Lanschot Kempen has decided to place it in the Werknemers Pensioen van a.s.r. The signing of this contract was the very last activity for for the former CFO of a.s.r., Chris Figee. From 1 February he works as CFO for KPN.

The new pension scheme is included in the Werknemers Pensioen of a.s.r. The contract was signed on Thursday 30 January by Constant Korthout, CFRO of Van Lanschot Kempen and Chris Figee, former CFO of a.s.r.

 Chris Figee: ‘We are proud that again another major client chooses for the Employee Pension (Werknemers Pensioen) of a.s.r. We warmly welcome the employees of Van Lanschot Kempen. With this pension contract we are also expanding the long-term relationship between both parties. It's nice to see that more and more parties are thinking about the financial fitness of their employees.’

Constant Korthout, CFRO of Van Lanschot Kempen: ‘From January 1, the employees of Van Lanschot Kempen have a new pension scheme. After careful orientation we have opted for the Employee Pension of a.s.r. This is due to clear employee communication, available sustainable funds and flexibility for employees.’

Pauline Derkman, as director of Life Insurance and Pension within a.s.r. responsible for the successful implementation of the new scheme, added: ‘a.s.r. invests in sustainable relationships. With the relevant team within Pensions we ensure that this collaboration will also be a long-term success.’
