a.s.r. repurchases shares for employee share plan
ASR Nederland N.V. (a.s.r.) announces the repurchase of ordinary shares in the amount of € 10 million. These shares are repurchased for the share plan for employees of a.s.r. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
a.s.r. will repurchase its own shares in the period from 18 January 2023 through 31 January 2023 at the latest up to a maximum amount of € 10 million. The number of shares to be repurchased is within the authorisation of the general meeting of shareholders of a.s.r. granted to the Executive Board on 25 May 2022. The number of shares being repurchased is approximately 239.005, based on the opening share price on 17 January of € 41,84.
An independent broker has been appointed to implement the repurchase programme. The exact timing will be determined by the broker, independently and without interference from a.s.r. The implementation of the repurchase programme depends on market conditions.
The progress of the repurchase will be announced weekly.

The fund has a current size of approximately EUR 400 million and an ambition to grow to EUR 800 million and invests mainly in solar and wind farms in the Netherlands. 26 Jun 2024a.s.r. and the trade unions have reached an agreement on a new collective labor agreement (cao)a.s.r. and the trade unions FNV Finance, De Unie, and CNV have reached a negotiation agreement for a new cao, valid from July 1, 2024, until April 1, 2025. Subject to the approval of a majority of the members of the trade unions, a.s.r. will have a new cao effective from July 1st, with a duration of 9 months.
