Bob Stehmann to be new director of Marketing at ASR
Bob Stehmann (43) has signed on with ASR per 1 May as director of Marketing. Stehmann currently works as Marketing and Proposition development manager at Achmea.
Until recently the position of director of Marketing at ASR was held temporarily.
Bob Stehmann has worked for Achmea since 2008. Previously he worked for ING, amongst others, in various marketing positions.

a.s.r. rings the gong to mark 10 years of being listed
To mark the 10th anniversary of its listing, CEO Ingrid de Swart today rang the gong at the opening of trading on Euronext Amsterdam. Exactly ten years ago, a.s.r. returned to the stock exchange. -

Special archaeological investigation into the Battle of Ane
On 13 June, a special archaeological investigation into the Battle of Ane (1227) will begin at the De Groote Scheere estate near Holthone. The Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE), veterans from Recovery on the Battlefield (ROTB) and metal detector amateurs from the Stichting Overstichtse Oorlogen (SOO) are working closely together on this project. It is the first time in the Netherlands that a medieval battlefield is being systematically explored. -

Ingrid de Swart appointed CEO of a.s.r.
Ingrid de Swart has been appointed CEO of ASR Nederland N.V. She succeeds Jos Baeten, who had previously indicated that he would not be available for a new term. Ingrid has been COO/CTO of a.s.r. since 2019 and has been appointed for a term of four years.
