On Tuesday 8 March - International Women's Day - Insurance magazine AM announced its new list of top women in the insurance sector. Three women from a.s.r. made it to the top 100.
Ingrid de Swart, COO/CTO a.s.r., achieved 3rd place in the AM 100 top women working in the insurance and mortgage industry. a.s.r. colleagues Akkie Lansberg, Chairman of the Board of Health Insurance (ranked 29) and Adéle Jeuken, Director of Mandated Brokers & Intermediary Distribution Non-Life (ranked 36) are on the list as well.
Bianca Tetteroo is in first position for the seventh time, thus remaining the most influential woman in the Dutch insurance world. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Achmea since 2015 and from April 2021 she will fulfil the role of Chairman of the Board.
The AM 100 top women’s objective is to increase women’s visibility, as still many more men than women are active in the financial sector. The placement is based on a number of criteria, including the number of FTEs and the amount of sales for which the top women are responsible.
