40% of entrepreneurs indicate that the political climate influences the sustainability choices they make. Notably, SMEs that place more importance on sustainable entrepreneurship are more likely to state that the current political climate affects the sustainable choices their company makes. The research, commissioned by a.s.r. and conducted by Motivaction among 308 SMEs, shows that for 33% of entrepreneurs, the political climate also influences how they implement the sustainability policy of their organisation.

a.s.r. is extending the partnership between homeQgo and Aegon to a.s.r. This means that from 1 March 2025, customers with an a.s.r. mortgage will also be able to turn to homeQgo for free online and telephone energy advice and tailor-made quotes.

In the past year, mortgage customers of a.s.r. with a sustainability loan have spent more as their homes had worse energy ratings. This is in line with the new rules for expanded borrowing standards. At the same time, financing for solar panels has halved.

a.s.r. offers a new service: Employee Investing. With this, employees can build up their own assets through their employer in addition to their pension. The new investment account helps with challenges that may arise due to the Future Pensions Act (Wtp), such as compensation for a lower pension and the retention of additional accrued pension in the event of death.

a.s.r. and the Royal Dutch Walking Association (Dutch acronym KWbN) proudly announce a partnership. Starting in 2025, a.s.r. will be the official main sponsor of the Avond4daagse, the largest walking event in the Netherlands for young and old. Today, ASR Nederland N.V. (a.s.r.) successfully issued €500 million in Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) notes through its securitisation programme Delphinus. Delphinus 2025-I represents the second transaction under this programme, following its relaunch in 2023.

Dutch people feel happy, although there is still room for improvement. Representative research among 1,295 Dutch people by Motivaction, commissioned by a.s.r., shows that a majority of Dutch people feel happy, with an average happiness rating of 7.4.
