Francis van Bergenhenegouwen takes up role as coordinator of Het nederlandse pensioenfonds

Francis van Bergenhenegouwen (1969) has joined us from Syntrus Achmea Asset Management, where she was a senior fiduciary client manager. Francis has worked in the institutional business for over two decades, during which time she has gained extensive experience and knowledge of the entire spectrum involved in administrating a pension fund (Blue Sky Group, Delta Lloyd, Robeco).

Het nederlandse pensioenfonds is a new pension fund that will take a different approach from what is customary in the pensions market. It can make this happen thanks to a.s.r.’s long-standing experience in the pensions market and its square focus on customers in every stage of the pension cycle, whether by offering a welcome team that helps employers or governing bodies of pension funds in their switch to a new pension scheme or by providing a pension helpdesk that answers customers’ questions about pension issues, even after they have retired. In each phase, customers receive active support and attention tailored to their needs. The law allowing, the effective date of Het nederlandse pensioenfonds is still scheduled for 1 January 2016.
