a.s.r. and trade unions agree on new Collective Labor Agreement

a.s.r. and the trade unions CNV, FNV Finance and De Unie agree on a new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA). The CLA will be in effect for a period of 21 months, starting retroactively from 1 April 2025 and running until 1 January 2027.

As part of the agreement, employees will receive a salary increase of 3% as of 1 November 2025 and a further 3% as of 1 April 2026. In addition, a one-off gross payment of € 1,500 (pro rata for part-time employees) will be made in January 2026. From 2026 onwards, employees will also be able to use five additional days per year to undertake (additional) activities that matter to them, and a new pension scheme will come into effect on 1 January 2026.

The members of CNV, FNV Finance and De Unie voted by a majority in favour of a.s.r.’s improved final offer of Thursday 13 October 2025 for a new CLA. Jos Baeten, CEO: ‘I am pleased that we have reached an agreement with all three trade unions, providing clarity for our colleagues. The proposals on the three themes are a valuable addition to our already strong employment terms package. This ensures that a.s.r. remains a healthy and attractive employer in the future. The new CLA makes a tangible contribution to this and offers colleagues good and appropriate employment conditions.
