As of 1 May 2026, Jonathan Koopmans will take up the role of director of Digital & IT at a.s.r. He succeeds Kees Tuijnman, who has held this position since 2017 and will leave a.s.r. on 1 May.
Throughout his career, Jonathan Koopmans (1971) has held various management and consultancy roles. He is currently CTO at a.s.r. subsidiary TKP, where he is responsible for the IT transformation related to the implementation of the new pension legislation. Previously, Jonathan served as CIO of ING’s European bancassurance unit in Paris and as associate director at Boston Consulting Group, specialising in IT strategy and transformation within the insurance sector.
Kees Tuijnman joined a.s.r. in 2014 as manager of Information Management for Life and Banking and assumed his current role in 2017.
