a.s.r. introduces ASR Hypotheek
a.s.r. is updating its mortgage offering with the introduction of the ASR Hypotheek (ASR Mortgage). This new mortgage is available with immediate effect. The WelThuis and DigiThuis mortgages offered by a.s.r. will remain available for existing customers but can no longer be taken out for new loans. The introduction of the ASR Hypotheek follows the integration of Aegon mortgages and a.s.r. mortgages. The new product combines a number of defining features from both Aegon and a.s.r.
The ASR Hypotheek is available in annuity, linear and interest-only variants. The product offers eight pricing tiers, with flexible choice of the interest rate fixation period within the term of the mortgage, up to a maximum of thirty years fixed-rate.
As with the WelThuis mortgage offered by a.s.r., automatic interest rate reductions apply when repayments are made. In addition, customers can opt for a Verduurzamingshypotheek (Sustainability mortgage) as part of the rate offer, and the portability arrangement applies, including the Verhuishypotheek (Porting mortgage). The product variants Verduurzamingshypotheek, Overbruggingshypotheek (Bridging mortgage) and Levensrente hypotheek (Life Annuity mortgage) by a.s.r. are also part of the new ASR Hypotheek.

The relabelling of the existing Aegon mortgage products to a.s.r., which will take place next weekend, marks the final step in this integration process. In doing so, we are carefully concluding this phase and providing customers with clarity and continuity.’
The a.s.r. WelThuis Startershypotheek (Starter mortgage), which is specifically designed for first-time home buyers, will remain available for new loans under the WelThuis label and will not be offered as part of the ASR Mortgage.

As of April 21, 2026, a.s.r.’s real estate and infrastructure activities will continue under the name a.s.r. real assets. This umbrella name brings together the various activities in the fields of real estate, infrastructure and development, and reflects the broadening and diversity of the platform. The use of the new name has no consequences for stakeholders. -

ASR Nederland N.V. (a.s.r.) today publishes the convocation and accompanying documents for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM), scheduled for Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at 10.00 AM. The AGM will be held at the offices of a.s.r. in Utrecht.
