a.s.r. wins Best Employer quality mark again

Once again, a.s.r. scored well above the national average in Effectory’s Best Employer Scan. This high employee appreciation earns a.s.r. the Best Employer quality mark 2020-2021. This was the result of an employer scan carried out among employees in December 2020.

Employees gave a.s.r. an 8.4, no less than 1.2 points higher than the national average. Almost 50% of all employees took part in the Best Employer survey and rated a.s.r. on good employership, organisational pride, organisational direction, appreciation, work pride and utilisation of talent. Among other things, employees indicated that they do meaningful work, have confidence in their colleagues and manager and are proud of a.s.r. as an employer. Employees have great confidence in the future of a.s.r. and particularly value the contribution that a.s.r. makes to society.

This high recognition earns a.s.r. the Best Employer quality mark, the largest independent quality mark for good employment in the Netherlands and a place on the list of Best Employers in the Netherlands.

Jolanda Sappelli, Director of Human Resources at a.s.r.: ‘I am pleased that we have once again demonstrated through this quality mark that we are one of the best employers in the Netherlands. These times demand a lot from employees, but also from employers. At a.s.r. we do everything we can to stay in contact with our employees, to really listen to their needs and to respond to them in the best possible way. I am proud that this is appreciated.’

Best Employer in the Insurance industry
In January 2020, a.s.r. took part in the Best Employer survey for the first time. a.s.r. then scored the highest of all participating insurers, earning it both the Best Employer quality mark and the Best Employer Award for the insurance industry. The winners this year will be announced in March 2021.
