a.s.r. publishes Integrated Annual Report 2018

CEO Jos Baeten: ‘a.s.r. looks back on a successful 2018. We demonstrate that a.s.r. is able to link a sound financial performance to growth and sustainable development. All our targets for the period 2016-2018 have been achieved. We have formulated ambitious new targets for the coming years, 2019-2021. Due to the sound financial results, the proposed 2018 dividend is 6.7% higher than the 2017 dividend.’

In 2018, a.s.r. continued its active efforts to improve its services to customers. a.s.r. is continuously improving the information it provides to customers and making it more transparent. New products developed in response to a changing world help them to find the most suitable solutions. Customer’ appreciation of a.s.r.’s efforts is reflected in an increasing Net Promoter Score. a.s.r.’s reputation is also developing positively.

a.s.r. aims to play a leading role in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship in the financial sector, also as an investor. To this end, a.s.r. further expanded its sustainable investment policy in 2018, taking into account not only environmental aspects but social issues as well. Investments are assessed and selected on the basis of an extensive screening policy.
In the Annual Report, a.s.r. uses an extensive value creation model to provide a comprehensive picture of the results achieved, the way in which they have been achieved, and how a.s.r. contributes to the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.
