Ewout Hollegien appointed as member of the Executive Board and CFO of a.s.r.
The Supervisory Board appointed Ewout Hollegien as member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a.s.r. He was appointed after having introduced himself during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM).
The shareholders represented were given the opportunity to meet Ewout Hollegien and ask questions during the EGM. The appointment will take effect on 1 December, 2021 and will end at the General Meeting of Shareholders of 2025.
Ewout Hollegien succeeds Annemiek van Melick, who stepped down from the Executive Board of a.s.r. on 12 October to become CFO of NN Group. The Executive Board of a.s.r. consists of three members as of 1 December 2021:
•Jos Baeten (CEO)
•Ewout Hollegien (CFO)
•Ingrid de Swart (COO/CTO)
