a.s.r. has again been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World Index) and in the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index (DJSI Europe Index), the indices that monitor companies for sustainability on a global and European level. This was announced by S&P Dow Jones Indices on Friday 9 December. With the inclusion in the DJSI World Index a.s.r. ranks amongst the 10% most sustainable insurers worldwide.
S&P Dow Jones Indices, the division of S&P Global that publishes the indices, assesses listed companies each year on their environmental (E), social (S) and economic (G) performance. The top 10% of best-performing companies in each sector are listed in the index. Based on the results achieved, a.s.r.’s sustainability policy ranks amongst the top in the European and global markets. It is the third consecutive year that a.s.r. has been included in the World index and the second consecutive year that a.s.r. has also been included in the European index.

a.s.r. achieved a score of 82 points out of a maximum of 100. The score on the three different parameters is: environmental (75), social (85) and economic (83).
