a.s.r. completes legal merger AEGON Levensverzekering N.V.
Today, the legal merger between ASR Levensverzekering N.V. (a.s.r. Life) and AEGON Levensverzekering N.V. (Aegon Life) has been completed. The Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) has granted permission for the legal merger.

The completion of the legal merger process can be regarded as the final step in the integration of Aegon Nederland into a.s.r. The merger means that all rights and obligations have been transferred from Aegon Life to a.s.r. Life. This results in further streamlining of the organisation. The services provided to customers will remain unchanged.
