a.s.r. publishes 2020 Annual Report

CEO Jos Baeten: ‘We are proud to present our 2020 Annual Report today. In our report, we provide a detailed discussion of our business operations in a year that was dominated by COVID-19, but in which a.s.r. achieved strong financial and non-financial results for all stakeholders.
In particular, I am proud of our employees who work hard every day to earn the trust of our customers. Despite the COVID-19 crisis, morale is high and motivation and vitality remain excellent, as evidenced by the weekly measurements we conduct with our mood monitor. This has helped us to maintain a high level of service and even increase customer satisfaction.’

For years, a.s.r. has had a statement of limited assurance for the non-financial information in the annual report. This year, for the first time, a.s.r. has obtained a statement of reasonable assurance for the reporting of specifically the following non-financial targets: Net Promoter Score (NPS), Employee contribution to society, Impact investing for own account and Carbon footprint of the investments for own account (including the mortgage portfolio). a.s.r. aims to obtain reasonable assurance for all non-financial information in its reporting.
